Trading Club Society
The trading club society was founded in 2009 by Arek Okrasa and continued by Tomasz Mlynowski in 2010.There have been many internal developments and we are looking to the future to develop intelligent financial like minded people to gain expertise in the markets, specificaly currency (Forex) markets. We also focus on Indexes, day trading, swing trading and active fund management in scouting profitable opportunities within financial markets.
Who we are
We are a group of students seeking to develop relations with new and existing students to assist with extra curricular learning outside of university modules to enhance your learning experience.
What we do
We meet on a weekly basis and discuss trading strategies within the Forex markets, trading opportunities, discuss market overview on indexes. We focus on intra-day, swing and occasionally long term trading. Suggestions, content and direction is constantly changing with the development of intergrating current members trading experience onto the floor to widen / increase market knowledge.
When we meet
We meet every Tuesday in MG2-20 from 5pm - 8pm. The first hour is theory, covering trading strategies, and technical analysis. The second hour will cober more advanced technical anaylsis and trading strategies to develop the previous semester students abilities and the third hour is designated to actively trade live Forex markets using Metatrader4. Please note ideally all participants of the third hour will need to bring their own laptop to meetings.
Our aim
Our aim is to teach, learn and prepare students with in depth technical analysis knowledge with a fundamental analysis overview to provide a greater understanding of the operations with the financial world to prepare for the desired jobs as an investment banker, trader or propriety trader once graduated from university.
